PARENT / CENTER AGREEMENT

  1. Responsibility for on-time payment is that of the parent/guardian. If acceptable arrangement for payment has not been made by the payment due date, a $35.00 late fee will be applied after the 10 th of the month. Accounts two weeks delinquent will result in dismissal from the center.

  2. Parents will not violate the hours of the care agreed upon. For children picked up after 5:30 p.m., a late charge of $1.00 per minute will be assessed for the first 5 minutes, and $5.00 per minute thereafter.

  3. Your child will not be released from First Baptist Early Childhood Development Center to anyone who is under the influence of drugs or alcohol, or is even suspected of being on either of the above. The child will have to remain at the center until a responsible person, whose name is on the enrollment form, can be contacted and arrangements made for the child to be picked up. If that person is late (after 5:30 pm) a late fee will be charged.

  4. If an intoxicated person should forcibly take a child against the better judgment of the Center, the following action will be taken: a) The police will be notified immediately and b) The child will be considered withdrawn from the First Baptist Early Childhood Development Center permanently.

  5. I hereby grant permission for my child to be videotaped and/or photographed during the time he/she is involved in the center’s program. School pictures are usually taken two or three times a year, and also during special school activities. ECDC has a Facebook page to be able to maintain better communication with its parents. No names will be posted to facebook.

  6. I give permission for my child to go on walks and trips under the supervision of the center’s staff. I understand that I will be notified in advance of trips requiring transportation.

  7. I give permission for my child to eat sweets (cake, brownies, donuts etc.) occasionally at morning snack time to celebrate other children’s birthdays and special occasions in their class.

  8. I give permission for my child to be sprayed with insect repellent during the months when mosquitoes are present on the playground and agree to provide repellent for my child.

  9. I give permission for the center to use anti-bacterial ointment or spray on my child should they receive a cut or scrape at the center.
