Our Philosophy
Family and Partnership Focus:
Teachers work hand-in-hand with parents and one another – building a superhero-like support system where everyone contributes to each child’s learning and well-being.
Whole-Child Development:
Beyond academic skills, we emphasize imagination, respect, kindness, and spiritual growth. Faith is woven through our day with chapel once a week and a blessing before meals, reflecting our church partnership.
Highly Qualified & Trusted Staff:
All teachers are background checked, CPR-certified, and hold DCF 45-hour training credentials. Many have long tenures at ECDC, earning trust and mentoring not just children but parents, too with lifesaver level support and practical tips to use at home.
Individual-Centered Advancement:
We tailor placements based on each child’s development – not just age – so families and teachers together determine the best class for every child.
