What to Expect in Each Classroom
-
In our Infants room, little ones receive hands-on care as they explore tummy time, buggy rides, and sensory-rich interactions. Babies begin their exciting developmental milestones like crawling, cooing, and sitting up while transitioning to one nap. Parents can expect a nurturing, responsive environment that supports movement, vocal play, and growing independence.
-
Our Toddler classroom is vibrant and busy – children are learning to ditch the pacifier, sit at a table, explore colors and shapes with paint and crayons, chat away during buggy rides, and start using words to express themselves. Fine motor growth is a highlight, too. It’s a charming phase of discovery and self-expression.
-
In the Twos class, your child transitions into structured yet playful learning – standing in line, playing on the playground, mastering potty training, and recognizing letters, names, and numbers. Kids practice using silverware, counting to ten, identifying body parts, and replacing tantrums with words. It’s all about growing independence, social awareness, and foundational learning.
-
Here, children develop confidence and center around learning through play. They’ll spell and write their name, zip jackets on and off, maintain focus in centers, count to 30, match sounds to letters, color in the lines, use scissors and glue, and finish meals within 30 minutes. Through center time, circle time, and small group time, they build social skills – waiting turns, talking with teachers, developing find and gross motor control, and gaining self-care independence. The classroom truly feels like a little family, growing together in kindness, creativity, and respect.
-
Our VPK class fosters readiness for kindergarten in a loving, faith-infused environment.
Eligibility & Program Details:
Florida’s Voluntary Prekindergarten (VPK) is a free state-sponsored program for all Florida children who are 4 years old on or before September 1 of the current school year.
The school-year program requires 540 instructional hours and class sizes capped at 11 students with one lead teacher or 20 students with an aide.
What children learn:
In addition to our typical preschool routines, children learn to count to 100, open their own lunch, respond to questions about read-alouds, recognize rhymes and patterns, memorize address and phone number, and learn sight words – building strong literacy, math, and social foundations.
