Our Deacons are a group of caring men and women who are here to minister to the needs of the Body of Christ.  They serve as needed to those who are hospitalized, homebound, or just in need of fellowship and prayer.

The Ushers are a vital part of our church as they extend a warm smile to welcome all into our worship.

Our Gather Team is responsible for our fellowship time on Sunday mornings, planning and overseeing other church dinners, events, and activities.

The Clothes Closet is open on the second Saturday of each month.  Those in need may come between 9 AM and 12 PM to receive free clothing.  Our Closet is staffed by caring volunteers who will be happy to assist you in finding what you might need.  We have men’s, women’s, children’s, and infant’s clothing, as well as shoes and other odds and ends.

Our Benevolence Ministry Team meets every Tuesday to assist those in need of help with their electric and water bills only.  If you live in Deland, you may call on Monday mornings after 8:15 am to make an appointment for the following day.  We only take four appointments each Tuesday, so you must call early for an appointment.

We encourage our Church Family to take part in the local supermarket’s buy one get one free bargain – and bring the free items to our church food pantry.  We then prepare bags of groceries that contain items to make a complete meal and make these available to those in need of food for themselves and their families.  This food is available upon request.

We believe in the power of prayer and the soul-nourishing that comes from drawing close to God in prayer.  We have several opportunities throughout the week for all to join hearts together in crying out to Him and praising Him in prayer.
